Fashion made by nobodies I would actually wear
& friends businesses I would invest in & happily share.

What are we chasing? Validation.
Even if temporary from any passing stranger.
Leave em salivating over what we got.
Over what we know
or what was up on 1st 2 put girth on the ego.
In turn somehow giving birth 2 more followers, less leaders.
Set up 2 determine where we go next.
Some ppl, only buy their kids Jordans
& get in their feelings when they wanna be kids & destroy em.
Some ppl only listen 2 music that they're familiar with
or that comes on the radio 4 their enjoyment
ignoring everything outside of the bubble that they're forming
under the impression if it's not on 92.Q it's boring.
Or corny.
All cuz someone told em 2.
Why should a brand have that much influence over u?
Disregarding the fact that there was a time
when the now familiar occupied no space in your mind
& u got along fine.
2 the street performer going 4 quarters & dimes
& the artist selling their portraits online, keep grinding.
2 the future Fashion Nova status entrepreneur
shooting 4 runways & showrooms, just keep climbing.
